Services & Pricing
Road2four offers clearly scoped transfer strategy services for California community college students navigating UC, CSU, California private, and other four-year pathways. Explore the right support level for your timeline, goals, and budget.
We believe in clear, upfront pricing with no hidden fees. Every service is priced to reflect the expertise, time, and strategic value you receive, so you can choose the level of support that fits your needs without guessing where scope begins or ends.
Which Option Fits You?
Start here if you are deciding how much support you actually need. The goal is to match the service to the student’s real situation, not make the page feel bigger than it needs to be.

Different transfer paths create different strategic problems. This section helps students orient themselves without sending them off to a separate services page.
UC Transfer
UC planning often requires sharper sequencing around ASSIST, major prep, PIQs, campus selectivity, and timing. Berkeley- and UCLA-style transfer strategy lives inside the stronger application and premium support paths below.

CSU Transfer
CSU strategy can look simpler on the surface, but impacted majors, campus selection, and course preparation still demand clean planning. If you are applying broadly, CSU support should sit alongside—not behind—your UC or private plan.

Private / Common App Transfer
Private and out-of-state transfer often adds essays, institutional fit work, financial aid comparison, and Common App complexity. This pathway benefits from more application-specific structure.

Impacted & Competitive Majors
Engineering, business, nursing, computer science, and other competitive pathways need tighter prerequisite sequencing, backup planning, and clearer positioning. This is where weak planning can cost time quickly.

Academic Momentum Tutoring
Transfer-critical support for courses that affect momentum, confidence, and transfer readiness. Tutoring stays on this page because it matters to outcomes, but it is intentionally separated from consulting so the main offer stays clear.
Writing / Composition / Essay Development
$60–65/hrSupport for transfer-critical writing, college composition, reading response, and essay development that affects academic momentum and confidence.
Statistics / Transfer-Level Math Support
$65–75/hrTutoring for courses that often become bottlenecks in transfer progress, especially for working students balancing heavier schedules.
R / Python / Data Analysis Support
$70–80/hrTechnical support for data-related coursework that can shape readiness for majors, GPA stability, and semester momentum.
Transfer planning is not a generic checklist. California has 116 community colleges, 9 undergraduate UC campuses, 23 CSU campuses, and more than 85 independent nonprofit colleges and universities. That creates at least 13,572 possible community-college-to-university pairings before you even factor in major requirements, articulation, GE patterns, deadlines, TAG or ADT options, and campus-specific course sequencing.
Every transfer path is different. The exact classes that make sense for one student at one college aiming for one destination may be the wrong sequence for another. Getting that sequence wrong can cost extra semesters, missed admissions windows, unnecessary classes, delayed graduation, and a great deal of avoidable stress.
Road2four pricing reflects the time, judgment, and California-specific strategy it takes to build a clean plan the first time. This is an investment in saving time, avoiding expensive mistakes, and giving yourself a far better chance of transferring on schedule to the right-fit university.
The reality is that most students do not transfer as quickly as they hoped: only 11% of California community college students transferred within two years of initial enrollment, and only about 21% of transfer-intending students transferred within four years. Strong planning does not guarantee admission, but it can dramatically reduce confusion, drift, and wasted time.
Pricing Questions
Before you buy, you should know what you are paying for, what happens if your plan changes, and how flexible support can be if your budget or schedule is tight. This section answers the most common questions Road2four would expect from California transfer students and families now that services and pricing live in one place.
Choosing the right service
Is my Transfer Roadmap Call credited toward a larger package if I continue?
The Transfer Roadmap Call is priced as a stand-alone service. If you move into a larger package soon after, the work from that session can often be folded into the next scope, but it is not treated as an automatic deposit on every service.
Exactly what is included in each package?
Each package lists its scope on this page, including session length, level of review, written deliverables, and what is not included. If a service includes a written plan, transcript review, essay rounds, or follow-up support, it is spelled out before you buy.
Which package should I choose if I’m applying to UC, CSU, and private schools at the same time?
If you are applying across multiple systems in one cycle, start with a Transfer Blueprint or a broader application-support package rather than a single-system sprint. Mixed-system applications usually require more coordination around prerequisites, deadlines, essays, and decision tradeoffs.
Which service is right for adult or working students?
Adult and working students often start with a Roadmap Call or Transfer Blueprint because those services help clarify what is realistic with work, part-time enrollment, and family obligations. If the process needs more continuity, Full-Cycle support is usually the better fit.
Can I start with a smaller service and upgrade later?
Yes. Many students start with a Fit Call, Roadmap Call, audit, strategy session, or writing review and upgrade only if they need deeper support. The goal is the right amount of help, not the biggest package.
Can I buy just one service without committing to a package?
Yes. Many services on this page are designed to be bought one at a time, especially roadmap calls, audits, writing reviews, family calls, tutoring, and deadline-driven support.
Timing, milestones, and flexibility
How late is too late to start?
Earlier is better, especially for impacted majors, UC prerequisites, and students balancing work or part-time enrollment. That said, late help can still be valuable for course correction, application review, appeals, waitlists, or decision support.
How long does each package last, and do packages expire?
Single-session services end when the call or deliverable is complete. Larger packages are designed around one planning or application cycle rather than indefinite access. If your timeline shifts, the remaining work can often be re-scoped instead of wasted.
What is your normal turnaround time, and what counts as rush support?
Most written reviews and smaller deliverables turn around in about 2 to 7 days, depending on the service. Rush support usually means 24 to 48 hour handling and carries the rush fee listed in the high-stakes support section.
What if I only need help with one milestone?
That is exactly what the à la carte structure is for. If you only need help with course selection, an appeal, PIQs, a waitlist letter, or decision-season comparison, you do not need to buy a full package.
What happens if my target schools, major, or timeline changes?
Plans can shift. If your schools, major direction, or application timeline changes, support can usually be adjusted toward the most relevant next step instead of forcing you through an outdated plan.
What if I fall behind or miss a deadline?
The most helpful move is to address it quickly. Road2four can help you triage what still matters, decide whether to pivot, appeal, regroup for the next cycle, or narrow the plan to the highest-value actions.
Budget, family, and support boundaries
What costs extra beyond the listed package price?
Rush turnaround, extra revision rounds beyond scope, additional schools or essays beyond the package, and stand-alone tutoring are the most common extra costs. The goal is to flag those before work begins so there are no surprise charges.
Do you offer lower-cost options if my budget is tight?
Yes. The lowest-cost entry points are the Free Fit Call, Transfer Roadmap Call, semester registration strategy, audits, and other smaller à la carte services. Those options are meant to deliver targeted help without forcing a full package.
Do you offer payment plans, scholarships, sliding-scale pricing, or discounts?
Payment plans may be available for larger packages. Rather than leading with broad discount promises, Road2four tries to recommend the smallest effective service first and build only if more support is actually needed.
Do you help with financial aid, fee waivers, and comparing aid offers?
Yes, at the strategy level. Road2four can help you think through fee waivers, compare aid offers, and organize smart questions for financial aid offices, especially in decision season. It does not replace a college financial aid office or a legal or financial professional.
Can a parent, partner, or family member join calls?
Yes. A parent, partner, or family member can join when that helps with decision-making, budgeting, or accountability. The student’s goals and voice still stay at the center of the process.
Do you offer evening-friendly scheduling?
Yes. Evening-friendly scheduling is offered whenever possible because many students are working, commuting, or managing family responsibilities during the day.
How Road2four fits into the bigger picture
Do you work with part-time, working, older, or restarting students?
Yes. Road2four is built for the realities many California transfer students face, including work schedules, stop-outs, part-time enrollment, returning after setbacks, and nontraditional timelines.
Is tutoring included, or is it separate?
Tutoring is separate from transfer consulting unless a custom scope states otherwise. It sits on this page because academic momentum often affects transfer readiness, but it is intentionally separated from advising packages.
Can I use Road2four alongside my transfer center or college counselor?
Yes. Road2four is designed to complement, not replace, the help you may already get from your college. Many students use their transfer center for institutional resources and Road2four for more individualized strategy, continuity, and accountability.
Will you tell me honestly if I only need a smaller service?
Yes. If a smaller service is enough, that is what will be recommended. The point is to match support to the real problem, not create unnecessary scope.
Do you provide written action steps after calls?
For services that include a written plan or audit, yes. For smaller calls, you will still leave with clear next steps, but the depth of written follow-up depends on the service you chose.
Do you guarantee admission?
No. No ethical consultant can guarantee admission. What Road2four can do is reduce confusion, improve planning quality, strengthen materials, and help you make better strategic decisions earlier.
Start with the level of support that actually fits your situation
You do not need to buy the biggest package to make progress. Start with a fit call, roadmap call, or targeted service, and build only if your situation truly needs more structure.
Evening-friendly scheduling available when possible.
